I can speak parseltongue

Draco Malfoy: (to Harry, disguised as Goyle) Why are you wearing glasses?
Goyle: Oh, uh... reading.
Draco Malfoy: Reading? I didn't know you could read.

After Mikki’s birthday celebration in Binondo, I went to MOA to find Chamber of Secrets book but regrettably, it’s not available so I just went home. Luckily, I know how to get home knowing that I’m not familiar in Manila, I’m alone and I’m commuting. I really want to buy the book so I dropped by at SM Sta.Rosa and aha, finally, they have it. When I arrived home, I realized, it’s brownout. It’s almost dark because it’s afternoon and raining so I called dad an asked him where he is and he said he’s at Quiapo. I cried (yes, like a kid) because I’m afraid to be alone and mosquitoes were torturing me so I hurriedly get my bag and left the house. I went to SM again and stayed at Dunkin Donut. It’s the only place where people are few and quiet. I killed the time by reading the newly bought book while drinking hot choco. I’m also listening to audio-book to avoid distractions. Arte ko lang.

Open Arms

It’s Mikki’s birthday celebration and it’s not the usual social gathering. Instead of celebrating it with friends, he and Mikee (the other celebrant) opted to celebrate their birthday with kids, kids who are less fortunate. He asked for some donations and invited some friends too.

On our way to Manila

People there are nice especially the helpers. Picture taking is not allowed and every time the sister is around, I felt like I’m in my alma mater, I’m hiding. I enjoyed the experience. Thank you Mikki for this moving celebration.

Better than checks, safer than money, and not near as dirty

I've been feeling sad because of the result of my exam in one of my subjects. Luckily, I saw Adrian along CEM (College of Economics and Management) and we decided to eat lunch at Pizza Hut. Food = Stress reliever (always). I texted Nica, my roommate, to join us. We ate at Pizza Hut knowing we don’t have money because it’s Friday already. Friday means allowance is diminishing, okay? Adrian volunteered he has a credit card. Yaaay!

We’re so filled and we really want to finish this scrumptious lunch because I and Adrian will going to be late in our 1pm class so we gave the “Credit Card” to pay, but … “Sir nag-e-error po”

Of course we managed to pay and Adrian apologized to us every second (Haha!). It’s okay bieyds (yes, seriously).  We were actually blaming the crew because of the bad service. The pizza is small and the toppings are few compared to the menu and description. BOO!

And that’s the story of our lunch today.
